Women's Soccer Falls Short in Non-Conference Finale

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (5-4-4, 1-0-2 NJAC) fell 1-0 to Alvernia (5-7-1, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) in a non-conference match Oct. 8 at Pioneer Soccer Park.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Golden Wolves capitalized on a corner in the 12th minute to take an early 1-0 advantage.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Junior goalkeeper Emma Timochko (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) recorded four saves in her season debut.
  • The Pioneers outshot the Golden Wolves, 12-8.
 
UP NEXT:
