NEW YORK, N.Y. - The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (3-1) faced a 122-75 loss on the road against Baruch (2-0), on Oct. 25. 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Freshman Mario Pontidis (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) secured a first-place finish in the 50 meter free (26.33).
• Sophomore Owen Kane (West Milford, N.J./West Milford) touched the wall first in the 100 meter breast (38.30).
• The Pioneers defeated Baruch in the 200 meter free relay, with efforts from Pontidis, Justin Melli (Erma, N.J./Lower Cape May Regional), Shane Apito (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) and Max Russell (Wharton, N.J./Jefferson Twp.), locking in a time of 1:47.46.
