Box Score WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson tennis team (2-2) earned a 6-1 home victory over York (N.Y.) (0-9. 0-5 CUNYAC) Oct. 24 at the Dr. Ginny Overdorf Tennis Courts.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Senior Kourtney Hartzel (York, Pa./West York Area) and sophomore Isabella Paladino (Leonardo, N.J./Middletown South) won 6-2 in first doubles.
• Seniors Sara Thomas (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) and Lindsey Acker (Wenonah, N.J./Deptford) secured a 6-2 victory in second doubles.
• Thomas logged a win in first singles (6-1, 6-3).
• Hartzel picked up a win in second singles (6-1, 6-1).
• Paladino was victorious in third singles (6-0, 6-0).
• Acker recorded a victory in fourth singles (6-2, 6-2).
• Sophomore Hannah Posser (Stockholm, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) captured a win in sixth singles (6-1, 6-1).

 
UP NEXT:

• William Paterson will head on the road Friday, Oct. 25, for a 3:00 p.m. match against Brooklyn.
