Men's Soccer Topped by Rutgers-Camden, 2-1

CAMDEN, N.J. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (7-7-3, 1-6 NJAC) was edged 2-1 by Rutgers-Camden (8-5-4, 4-1-2 NJAC) in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) road match Oct. 23.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Scarlet Raptors grabbed a 1-0 advantage with a goal in the 18th minute before extending the lead to two with another score in the 31st minute.
  • In the 58th minute, William Paterson got on the board with a goal by junior Dylan Nahas (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) off the feed from classmate Jimmy Bruno (Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan).
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Nahas notched his fourth goal of the season.
  • Bruno dished out his fourth helper of the year.
