GLASSBORO, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-11, 0-4 NJAC) fell 9-0 at Rowan (9-7, 4-0 NJAC) Oct. 23 in a road New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Profs jumped out to an early 3-0 advantage within the first nine minutes of action.
• Rowan tacked on four goals in the second quarter to extend the lead to seven (7-0).
• The Profs tallied a score in the 37th minute before adding one more in the 59th minute.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Freshman goalie Sofia Chebookjian (Ocean Township, N.J./Ocean Township) made 10 saves.

 
UP NEXT:

• William Paterson will trek to Galloway, N.J., Oct. 26, for a 12:00 p.m. conference game at Stockton.
