Field Hockey Upended by Kean, 4-0

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-10, 0-3 NJAC) was upended by visiting Kean (5-8, 1-1 NJAC), 4-0, Oct. 16.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Cougars found the back of the cage less than four minutes into the contest, then added a goal in the 16th minute and a penalty stroke at the 18:06 mark for a 3-0 halftime advantage.
  • Kean tacked on a final goal with less than a minute remaining.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Sofia Chebookjian (Ocean Township, N.J./Ocean Township) notched five saves.
 
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson plays at Rowan Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 6:00 p.m.
