Field Hockey Stumbles at TCNJ

EWING, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-9, 0-2 NJAC) suffered a 7-0 loss at The College of New Jersey (8-4, 2-0 NJAC) Oct. 12.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Lions scored during the fifth and 14th minutes for a 2-0 edge at the end of the first quarter.
  • Goals in the 20th and 29th minutes made it a 4-0 score at halftime.
  • TCNJ found the back of the cage in the 39th, 41st and 44th minutes during the third quarter.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Sofia Chebookjian (Ocean Township, N.J./Ocean Township) registered 12 saves.
 
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson hosts Kean Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 7:00 p.m.
