NEWARK, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (1-2-3) dropped a 6-0 decision to host NYU (6-0) Sept. 20.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

NYU built a 4-0 lead by halftime, then added two more goals during a four-minute span of the second period.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Mantilla (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) made five stops, and classmate Emma Timochko (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) added four saves.
The Violets received votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll.
