DELHI, N.Y. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (9-4) extend their win streak to five, earning a non-conference road victory against Suny Delhi, 69-53, on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Junior Brandon Arias (North Haledon, N.J./Passaic County Tech) was victorious in the 1,000 free (12:58.50).
• Freshman Nicky Byrd (Purchase, N.Y./Harrison) earned first place in the 200 free (2:03.05).
• Junior Andrew Colligan (Andover, N.J./Sussex County Tech) won the 50 free (25.44).
• Sophomore Shane Apito (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) posted a first-place finish in the 200 IM (2:25.66).
• Junior Jackson Forrest (Lewes, Del./Wayne Valley) put up nine points for the Pioneers with a final score of 138.35 in the 1 meter dive.
• The Pioneers secured the 200 medley relay with efforts by juniors Forrest, Ricardo Ordinola (Lodi, N.J./Passaic County Tech), Arias and Anthony Newman (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany), with a time of 2:04.59.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Colligan secured a personal best in the 100 breast (1:15.84).
