Late Goal Pushes Rutgers-Newark Past Women's Soccer

NEWARK, N.J. – A goal off a penalty kick in the 89th minute made the difference as the William Paterson (1-6-3, 0-2 NJAC) women's soccer team fell to Rutgers-Newark (6-5-1, 2-0 NJAC), 1-0, in an NJAC match on Sept. 28.

  • Both sides were kept off the board until Rutgers-Newark earned a penalty kick and capitalized in the 89th minute.
