Men’s Soccer Falls Short at Franklin & Marshall, 3-1

LANCASTER, PA. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (3-3-1) fell short at Franklin & Marshall (5-1-1), 3-1, Sept. 21.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Diplomats got on the scoreboard less than three minutes into the contest.
  • Sophomore Diego Navas (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) provided the equalizer in the 17th minute, his third tally of the season.
  • Franklin & Marshall pulled ahead by a 2-1 count at the 35:23 mark.
  • The Diplomats tacked on an insurance goal in the 76th minute.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Senior Thomas Hatch (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) collected seven saves for the Pioneers.
