ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The William Paterson men's soccer team was handed its first loss of the season after falling to Muhlenberg, 4-0, on Sept. 10 at Cedar Crest College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Mules jumped out to a 1-0 advantage in the eighth minute.
• Less than 10 minutes into the second half, Muhlenberg added an insurance score.
• In the 67th minute, the Mules extended their lead to three before tacking on one final goal in the 89th minute.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Thomas Hatch (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) logged a season-high seven five in goal for the Pioneers.
