Box Score WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson women's basketball team (12-9, 11-6 NJAC) secured a 58-48 Senior Day win against The College of New Jersey (10-12, 7-10  NJAC), at home Feb. 12.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• WP outscored the Lions 17-9 left in the first quarter.
• A jumper from junior guard Yakira Rosa (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) with nine seconds left in the half gave the Pioneers a 30-16 lead.
• The Lions started the third quarter on a 6-0 run, cutting the WP lead to six at the 5:51 mark.
• Junior forward Qiana Vigo (Ewing, N.J./The Hill School) nailed a three-pointer at the 3:49 mark of the fourth gave the Pioneers a 50-39 lead.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior forward Justina Cabezas (Carlstadt, N.J./Becton Regional) finished with 21 points and four rebounds on 8-for-13 (.615) shooting.
• Senior forward Brianna Brooks (Saddle Brook, N.J./Saddle Brook) added 11 points and five rebounds.
