Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Topped by Stockton, 5-1

GALLOWAY, N.J. – The William Paterson men's soccer team fell to Stockton, 5-1, in an NJAC match on Oct. 8.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Ospreys logged four first-half goals to gain the advantage.
  • In the 65th minute, sophomore Diego Navas (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) beat a Stockton defender along the end line and put the ball into the back of the net.
  • Stockton tacked on one additional goal in the 88th minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Navas posted his fourth goal of the season.
UP NEXT:
  • The Pioneers will head to Jersey City, N.J., on Wednesday, Oct. 12, for a 3 p.m. NJAC tilt against New Jersey City University.
