Women's Soccer Draws with Kean in NJAC Play

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (1-9-5) and Kean (4-5-5) played to a 1-1 draw Oct. 15 at Pioneer Soccer Park.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Sophomore Madelyn Spink hit the back of the net for the Pioneers in the 80th minute with an assist by junior Julia Fiorito (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North).
  • The Cougars tied the score in the 83rd minute.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Sarah Mantilla (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) saved seven shots against Kean.
  • Spink posted her fourth goal of the season.
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson continues play on the road against Pratt Institute, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
