GLASSBORO, N.J.- The William Paterson men's basketball team (10-8, 7-6 NJAC) fell on the road 96-72 at Rowan (16-4, 9-4 NJAC) on Jan. 31.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Pioneers' trailed 19-18 at the 12:08 mark of the first half.
• A three pointer from graduate student Brian Monaghan (Florham Park, N.J./Morristown-Beard) cut the deficit to 36-32 with 4:24 left in the first half.
• Rowan outscored WP, 43-35 in the second-half.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Monaghan finished with 18 points, three assists and three rebounds.
• Junior forward Yvens Monfleury (Newark, N.J./American History) scored 11 points while grabbing a career-high 16 rebounds.
