WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson Men's swimming and diving team (3-3) swept in a double dual meet format, downing Lehman (0-5) 82-57 and SUNY Delhi (0-6) 73-38, January 14.

TOP PERFORMERS:

• Freshman Shane Apito (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) secured two first-place finishes for WP in the 100 fly (1:00.94) and 200 IM (2:23.99).
• Senior William Pike (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) touched the wall first in the 200 free with a time of 2:13.59, while sophomore Andrew Colligan (Andover, N.J./Sussex County Tech) touched first in the 50 free with a time of 24.74.
• The Pioneers also earned points with wins from the 200-medley team consisting of Pike, senior Thomas Haughey (Folsom, Pa./Ridley), sophomore Ricardo Ordinola (Lodi, N.J./Passaic County Tech), and senior Valentine Perez (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton) with a team time of 2:01.97 as well as the 200 free style relay team consisting of Perez, senior Isaiah Almonte (Elmwood Park, N.J./New Bedford), sophomore Anthony Newman (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) and sophomore Sung Ni Wang Mukanda (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth).
