WAYNE, N.J. – Junior midfielder Megan Hoopes (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Twp.) found the back of the cage in the 64th minute, lifting the William Paterson field hockey team (1-0) to a 1-0 overtime victory against visiting Ramapo (0-1) March 16.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Junior midfielder Hope Addlesberger (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) sent a deflection to Hoopes, who finished at the 63:41 mark for the game's lone goal.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Emily Hoagland (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) made four saves during her collegiate debut.
  • The game was the first for the Pioneers in 500 days. WP's last contest was Oct. 31, 2019, at Kean.
