PITMAN, N.J. – Sixth-seeded William Paterson (2-2, 2-2 NJAC) will visit third-seeded Montclair State (5-3, 5-3 NJAC) for quarterfinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Basketball Tournament Friday, March 5, at 4:00 p.m.

WP IN THE NJAC TOURNAMENT: Â
- The Pioneers are making their 28th NJAC Tournament appearance (1972, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021), including 11 of the last 14 years.
- WP has won 11 NJAC titles (1972, 1980, 1983, 1984, 1985, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2012).
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS:
- Sophomore forward Yvens Monfleury (Newark, N.J./American History) has been incredible for the Pioneers this season, averaging a team-best 17.8 points per game while shooting 56-percent (28-5) from the field, and leads the NJAC with 10.8 rebounds per contest.
- Sophomore guard Jadon Cepeda (West New York, N.J./Memorial) has chipped-in 16.7 tallies per contest, while Adryan Lopez (Garfield, N.J./Lyndhurst) is contributed 12.8.
- Junior guard Domenic Mignone (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) has come on strong as of late, pouring in 12.0 points per contest, and first-year point guard Cody Ripato (Tollesboro, Ky./Augusta) paces WP with 2.5 assists per outing.

SCOUTING THE RED HAWKS:
- High-scoring Montclair State has five players averaging double-figures this season, led by junior Steven Breeman's 15.8 per game.
- Junior Myles Mitchell-White is adding 12.4 tallies each outing, followed by Keyon Price (11.6), Irving Callendar IV (11.4) and Devin Cooper (11.0).
- Defensively, MSU rates first in the NJAC with 10.5 steals per game, led by Mitchell-White (1.9), Callendar IV (1.8) and Kieran Flanagan (1.8).

- The Red Hawks swept the regular season series, claiming a 83-70 home win Feb. 5, and posted a 83-79 triumph at the Sports and Recreation Center Feb. 6.
