WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (0-2, 0-2 NJAC),was topped by conference opponent Montclair State (2-0, 2-0 NJAC), 165-61 on Feb. 20.

TOP PERFORMERS:

• Freshman Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic) earned a second-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 2:17.32. Krajewski also added points to the Pioneer total by placing fourth in the 100 fly (1:09.66) and fifth in the 50 free (28.66).
• Junior Leah Santonastaso (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) placed third in the 100 free with a time of 1:10.26 and fourth in the 500 free with a time of 6:41.67.
• Junior Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) touched the wall third in the 100 IM (1:10.82) and fourth in the 50 fly (29.93)
• Sophomore Alexia Garcia (Teaneck, N.J./Immaculate Conception) earned a pair of fourth place finishes in the 50 breast (36.79) and 100 breast (1:21.64)

UP NEXT:

• The Pioneers will return to Wightman pool Saturday, Feb. 27, at 1:00 p.m. as they finish out their shortened season with virtual dual meets against Ramapo and Kean.
