WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (2-1) saw multiple swimmers post first-place as it earned a 99-53 victory over Purchase (0-1) Nov. 6.

TOP PERFORMERS:

• Sophomore Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic) posted a personal best with a first place standing in the 100 fly (1:07.97) as well as finishing first in the 50 free (27.74).
• Sophomore Abigail Malandro (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) touched the wall first for the Pioneers in both the 100 free (58.65) and 200 free (2:13.2).
• Senior Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) contributed two first-place finishes for WP in the 100 back (1:11.06) and 200 IM (2:30.11)
• Senior Leah Santonastaso (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) contributed to the William Paterson total with a victory in the 1000 free (13:22.46) and a second-place finish in the 100 free (1:08.99).
• The 200-medley relay team consisting of Friedman, Alexia Garcia (Teaneck, N.J./Immaculate Conception), Krajewski, and Malandro triumphed for the Pioneers with a total time of 2:03.56.
