SALISBURY, MD- The William Paterson football team (4-6, 2-4 NJAC) fell on the road 38-7, at No. 11 Salisbury (8-1, 6-0 NJAC) in its season finale, Nov. 13.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Salisbury kicked off the scoring on their opening drive with a 25-yard touchdown run.
• Salisbury went on to score 38 unanswered points until late in the fourth quarter.
• Sophomore wide receiver Matt Clarke (Long Branch, N.J./Long Branch) hauled in a 37-yard touchdown pass from Freshman quarterback Spencer Lee (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./Hasbrouck Heights) with 6:29 left to play.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Clarke finished the day with eight catches for 108 yards and hauled in one touchdown.
• Senior linebacker Jared Salgado (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany Hills) and junior linebacker Nazier Wright (Paterson, N.J./John F. Kennedy) each finished with 12 tackles.
• Wright also added two tackles for loss and one pass breakup.
