GLASSBORO, N.J. –The Wiliam Paterson women's soccer team (4-6, 1-4 NJAC) was bested 2-1 at Rowan (9-3, 4-1 NJAC) on Oct. 9.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The first goal of the contest did not come until the 62:53 mark as the Profs put in a left footed goal to take the 1-0 lead.
• The Pioneers evened the score at the 65:32 mark as sophomore forward Julia Fiorito (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) fired a shot from outside the box that connected with the net.
• The Profs scored the game-winning goal at the 79:43 mark, hitting a one-time touch off a free kick for the 2-1 advantage.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Graduate student goalkeeper Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) earned six saves for the Pioneers.
• Fiorito extended her goal streak to three matches in today's contest.

UP NEXT:

• William Paterson returns to Pioneer Soccer Park Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7:00 p.m. as they host Rutgers-Newark.
