WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson women's soccer team (8-8, 3-6 NJAC) defeated New Jersey City (3-10-3, 0-8-1 NJAC) 1-0, in its final regular season game of the season, Oct. 27.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Senior midfielder Isabel Fernandez (Kearny, N.J./Kearny) kicked off the scoring in the 37th minute off an assist from junior midfielder Lindsey Ash (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Atlantic Christian).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Fernandez scored her fourth goal of the season.
Graduate student goalkeeper Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) recorded her fourth shutout of the year.
