ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – With a final score of 97-58, the men's swimming and diving team (8-4, 0-1 NJAC) sailed past Bard (0-6, 0-3 Liberty League) Jan. 18 in the Pioneers' last non-conference meet of the 2019-20 regular season. 
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Senior Eamon Logue (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.) swam a personal best of 2:10.85 to win his first event of the meet, the 200 IM.  He later went on to win two more races by finishing the 100 free in 51.69 and the 100 breast in 1:09.22. 
• Classmate Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) also placed first in three races.  His solid times of 1:53.79, 1:02.39 and 5:20.79 allowed him to take home the 200 free, 100 back and 500 free, respectively.
• The winning did not stop with the seniors as juniors Valentine Perez (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton) and Honacy Beco Jr. (Wantage, N.J./High Point Regional) took home top points as well.  Perez placed first in the 50 free (24.98) and Beco Jr. touched first in the 100 fly (1:01.73).

IN THE NUMBERS:

• Junior Thomas Haughey (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) recorded a personal best for this season in the 100 back (1:05.81) for second place in that event.
• Classmate John Conlow (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) also posted a personal best.  He placed second in the 200 free with a time of 2:03.85. 

 
UP NEXT:

• WP heads to Montclair State on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:00 p.m. for a conference meet.
