Bethlehem, Pa. – Senior Shannon Super (Oaklyn, N.J./Collingswood) found the back of the cage in the fourth quarter after contributing an early assist as the William Paterson field hockey team (1-2) notched its first victory of the season by outscoring Moravian (1-3), 2-1, on the road Sept. 7.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Sophomore Hope Addlesberger (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) tapped in a long pass from Super in the tenth minute to lead the scoring.
• Moravian put themselves on the scoreboard just two minutes before the first half of the game ended.
• Super took a shot from the top of the circle (46') to give the Pioneers an edge over the competition.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior Kerianne Brown (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) and sophomore Tara Weniger (Somerset, N.J./Franklin) split time in the cage to keep the Greyhounds to a lone goal.
• The WP defense held Moravian to just two corners.
