Tennis Suffers 9-0 Loss to Rutgers-Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. – The William Paterson tennis team (0-6, 0-4 NJAC) suffered a 9-0 setback to New Jersey Athletic Conference opponent Rutgers-Camden (7-2, 3-2 NJAC) Sept. 28

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The pairing of senior Kaworu Ishikawa (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) and freshman Ashley Sawyer (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills) took three games in their doubles flight before falling, 8-3.
Senior Nicole D'Ascoli (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) took a game in third singles before dropping the match 0-6, 1-6.

WP returns to action Sunday, Sept. 29, when they compete in the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Invitational at Drew University beginning at 10:00 a.m.
