Men’s Soccer Registers 2-0 Non-Conference Win at Baruch

Nick Bogado, Saling Find Back of Net for Pioneers

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Goals from freshman back Nick Bogado (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and senior forward/midfielder Jordan Saling (Haledon, N.J./Paramus Catholic) lifted the William Paterson men's soccer team (5-4-3) to a 2-0 non-conference victory at Baruch (6-5-1) Oct. 7.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Bogado fired from 10 yards out for his first career goal and a 1-0 Pioneer advantage in the 29th minute.
  • Saling doubled the lead at the 51:13 mark, converting his fifth penalty kick of the season.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman goalkeeper Thomas Hatch (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) collected three saves for WP, while sophomore Gabriel Reyes (Paterson, N.J./Ramstein) and freshman Sean Furtek (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) each saw 15:00 of game action.
