THROGGS NECK, N.Y. –The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (2-2) was unable to out-swim the Privateers, leading to a 158-60 decision at Maritime (1-0) Oct. 29.
TOP PERFORMERS:
- Junior Bradley Belina (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) posted a first-place finish in the 1000 free (11:32.43).
- Classmate Jonathan Vela (Prospect Park, N.J./Passaic County Tech) contributed points to the Pioneer score, placing third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.97.
- Senior Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) was out-touched in the 100 back with a time of 1:02.20 to finish second.
- Senior Eamon Logue (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.) touched first in the 100 free (51.41), followed later by a second-place finish in the 100 breast (1:09.32).
