Men's Swimming and Diving Falls for the First Time This Season in a 111-94 Loss to Baruch

Seniors Jimmy Sharkey and Eamon Logue Won Two Races Apiece

WAYNE, N.J. – Although a pair of Pioneers were double winners, the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (2-1) was bested by visiting Baruch (1-1), 111-94, Oct. 22. 
 
TOP PERFORMERS:
  • Senior Jimmy Sharkey (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) was a double winner, placing first in both the 200 free and the 500 free. 
  • Classmate Eamon Logue (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.) earned two individual victories again, touching first in the 50 free and the 200 free (51.72). 
  • Junior Bradley Belina (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) claimed the 1000 free in 11:23.49.
 
IN THE NUMBERS:
  • Junior John Conlow (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) recorded multiple season best times this meet while assisting the Pioneers with points.  He shaved seconds from his 1000 free, 200 IM and 500 free times.   
 
UP NEXT:
  • WP hits the road for its first away meet of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Maritime.  The meet starts at 6:00 p.m.
