WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson women's soccer's (5-3-2) late rally fell short against visiting Drew (5-4), 2-1, Oct. 2.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Rangers converted the best chance of the first half when a ball played through the box was finished at the right post in the 36th minute.
• Drew doubled its lead in the 59th minute, converting a corner kick to the far post.
• Senior midfielder Lorraine Moffitt (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) cut the advantage to 2-1 at the 72:32 mark, drilling the resulting penalty kick after the Rangers were whistled for a hand ball in the box.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) made one stop in goal for the Pioneers.
