Tennis Drops 6-3 Decision at Baruch

McDaniel, Nunziato both double winners

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The William Paterson tennis team (0-10) fell by a 6-3 score at Baruch (8-2) Oct. 12.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

In third-doubles, the tandem of junior Carly McDaniel (Lincoln Park, N.J./Boonton) and sophomore Anna Nunziato (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) posted an 8-4 triumph to get WP on the board.
McDaniel carried momentum into singles play, winning the fifth flight 6-2,6-1.
Nunziato breezed to a straight set victory in sixth-singles, 6-1, 6-0.
