Video Highlights

WAYNE, N.J. – Another victory gets added to the women's swimming and diving (10-2, 1-1 NJAC) record as a team effort led to a 72-63 defeat against Purchase (0-11, 0-5 Skyline) in a non-conference meet Jan. 22.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Sophomore diver Sara Haller (Cupertino, Calif. /Monta Vista) earned 210.00 points in the one-meter dive to secure the event for the Pioneers.
• Junior diver Ashley Lawler (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) tallied a victory in the three-meter dive by collecting 197.70 points.
• Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) was a triple winner for the night.  The senior touched first in the 1000 free in 12:09.30, the 100 free in 1:03.36, and the 500 free in 5:53.91.
• Senior Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) was a double winner by notching victories in the 50 free with a time of 27.22 and the 50 back with a time of 29.77.
• Also a senior, Christianne Joyce Pineda (Haskell, N.J./Hackensack) outswam opponents in the 50 fly with a time of 30.42 to tally another Pioneer win.
• Freshman Leah Santonastaso (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) took first in the 200 free by touching the wall in 2:24.40.  She took second in the 500 free with a personal best time of 6:23.59.
• Mariah Jenkins (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) also notched a personal best time this meet.  The junior placed second in the 200 IM with a personal best time of 2:44.47.  She later touched first in the 50 breast with a time of 36.25.
• Freshman Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) did not go without a victory in the meet.  She took home the 200 IM with a time of 2:38.85.
