MADISON, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (1-3) dropped their non-conference road match 2-0 against FDU-Florham (3-0-1) on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After a scoreless first half, FDU's Amanda Croce took Tatiana Nieto's pass and found the back of the end in the 51st minute. Madeline Finnegan added an insurance goal in the 81st minute.
• Marisa Adelman (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) and Lorraine Moffitt (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) both recorded shots on goal, but were unable keep the goalkeeper.
• Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) posted four saves for the Pioneers.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• WP leads the all-time series with the Devils 12-3-4.
• FDU-Florham snapped a three-game losing streak to the Pioneers.
