Pioneer Tennis Drops NJAC Opener to TCNJ

MAHWAH, N.J. – The William Paterson University women's tennis team (0-2, 0-1 NJAC) fell to perennial powerhouse, The College of New Jersey (7-0, 5-0 NJAC) 9-0 Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Lions continued their New Jersey Athletic Conference dominance, remaining unbeaten all-time in conference play. The Lions did not allow the Pioneers to win a set in the match, taking each singles match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 and all three doubles matches 8-0.

UP NEXT:

The Pioneers return to action Tuesday, September 18 when they travel to the College of Staten Island for a non-conference matchup beginning at 4:00 p.m.
