WAYNE, N.J. – A second half surge by the William Paterson women's soccer team (1-5, 0-1 NJAC) wasn't enough as the Pioneers fell in its conference opener against Rowan (5-1, 1-0 NJAC) 5-2 at Pioneer Soccer Park.
