WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (3-3, 0-0 NJAC) used two goals and 11 saves to lift them to a 2-1 home victory against DeSales (2-3, 0-0 MAC Freedom) Sept. 15.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hope Addlesberger (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) deflected the ball into the cage from a shot by Kristin Freas-Papa (Westville, N.J./Gateway Regional) in the 19th minute to get the Pioneers on the scoreboard
- Haley Olsen (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) helped the team in the 50th minute with her first collegiate goal
- DeSales scored off of a corner in the 53rd minute but could not secure any more efforts
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Mallory Rickerhauser (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional) tallied 11 saves
- Sara Haller (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista) recorded her first career defensive save
- Addlesberger's goal was her second of the season
