ONEONTA, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (0-1) came up short in their 2018 opener, falling 2-0 to Hartwick College (0-1) in their opening match of the Erinn K. Brozman Memorial Cup.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Hartwick's Zoe Capanna and Alexa DuBois set up Tanner Reed in the game's 6th minute to open the scoring.
• The Hawk's Samantha Ford would add an insurance goal in the 57th minute.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Despite putting six shots on target, the Pioneers were unable to find the back of the net.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) registered five saves.

UP NEXT:
WP will face Keuka College tomorrow afternoon in their final game of the tournament, with kick off scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
