Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match to Hunter, 7-2

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson tennis team (0-6, 0-3 NJAC) suffered a 7-2 home loss against Hunter College (5-2) on Oct. 3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Freshman Samantha Cruz (Andover, N.J./Central ) easily handled Hunter's Adina Noble, 6-0, 6-1, in the fifth singles flight.
Classmate Delia Rodriguez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Technical Institute ) was also victorious in her singles match, topping Tabitha Doris 7-5, 6-3.
Junior Julienn Guzman (Jersey City, N.J./Liberty) took the first set of her respective singles competition, before falling 3-6, 6-4, 10-6.
