MADISON, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (5-7, 1-3 NJAC) scored three second half goals in a span of 4:36 to record a 3-0 road victory at Drew University (5-4-2) on Oct. 3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After a scoreless first half, sophomore forward Corrine Bowe (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) intercepted a pass and beat the goalkeeper 1v1 to give the Pioneers the lead in the 57th minute.
• Just over three minutes later, Marisa Adelman (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) doubled the visitor's lead as she raced past the Ranger's backline and fired a shot inside the far right post.
• Bowe's second goal of the night, a long arching shot over the outstretched arms of Drew's Madison Dudziec, concluded the scoring at the 60:39 mark.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Sophomore goalkeeper Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) stopped seven shots en route to her fourth shutout of the season.
• WP holds an 11-8-4 lead in the all-time series against Drew.
