UNION, N.J. – The William Paterson tennis team (0-9, 0-5 NJAC) fell by an 8-1 score at Kean (4-7, 1-3 NJAC) Oct. 17.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Pioneers' point came via default at second singles.
• Junior Julienn Guzman (Jersey City, N.J./Liberty) and freshman Samantha Cruz (Andover, N.J./Central ) battled to an 8-9 (3-7) result at second doubles.
• Guzman also played a close match at fourth singles, falling just short by a 6-7 (4-7), 4-6 score.

 
UP NEXT:

• William Paterson celebrates Senior Day and finishes its season Friday, Oct. 19, with a home match against Rutgers-Newark at 4:00 p.m.
