IMMACULATA, PA. – A pair of first-half goals allowed the William Paterson men's soccer team (4-3-1) to secure a 2-0 victory at Immaculata (3-3-1) Sept. 21.
Sophomore midfielder
Glehvjan Zotaj (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) struck a shot to the upper-right corner at the 27:29 mark to break the scoreless tie.
Freshman forward
Jake Dufner (Lakehurst, N.J./Central Regional) added an insurance goal in the 37th minute, converting a Zotaj rebound over the diving keeper.
Freshman
Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) collected five saves for the Pioneers, and senior Joe Lubonski had 13 stops for the Macs.
The Pioneers will visit No. 8 Rowan Saturday, Sept. 24, at 7:00 p.m.
