POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Freshman midfielder/back
Keysean Brant-Sharp (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) scored in the 66th minute as the William Paterson men's soccer team (3-2-1) played to a 1-1, double-overtime draw with New Paltz (3-0-2) Sept. 11 at Vassar.
The Panthers struck first when junior midfielder Ben Zilka connected on an Aleco Podias cross in the 27th minute.
Brant-Sharp provided the equalizer at the 65:20 mark, dribbling into the box and firing from 12 yards out.
Freshman
Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) notched two saves for the Pioneers, and junior John Guzzo made four stops for New Paltz.
The Pioneers will start New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play Saturday, Sept. 17, at home against The College of New Jersey at 1:00 p.m.
