PISCATAWAY, N.J. - After the first day of the Metropolitan Championships on Feb. 19, the William Paterson women's swimming and diving team was 10th out of 16 teams.
Senior
Hannah Hillebrand (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) set a new school record, scoring a 407.75 in the three-meter dive to finish fourth. Junior
Courtney Lawler (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional) earned a score of 312.75, good enough for seventh place.

Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional), senior
Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional), junior
Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley), and freshman
Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) touched second in the B Final in 1:45.00.

Christianne Joyce Pineda (Haskell, N.J./Hackensack) came together to finish third in the B Final of the 400 medley relay (4:10.62).
William Paterson will continue competition at the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 20-21.
