UNION, N.J. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (6-5-2, 2-3 NJAC) dropped a 5-0 decision at Kean (11-3, 3-2 NJAC) Oct. 8.
Senior midfielder Robert Barrera knocked in Kamsi Udodi's rebound off the crossbar to break the scoreless deadlock 29:40 into the contest.
Barrera crossed from 20 yards out to senior midfielder/forward Kazari Trought, who found the back of the net for a 2-0 score in the 49th minute.
Senior forward Kenny Rocha scored after a long run up the left side at the 57:40 mark, and junior midfielder Michael Vargas spun a shot off the left post and in during the 70th minute.
Trought finished the scoring with a finish of a Barrera rebound with less than 10 minutes remaining.
Freshman
Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) made five saves for the Pioneers, and sophomore Bryce Horn had three stops for the Cougars.
William Paterson will host Montclair State Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 7:00 p.m.
