GALLOWAY, N.J. – Four different Pioneers found the back of the cage as William Paterson (6-6, 1-2 NJAC) earned a 4-2 conference field hockey victory at Stockton (6-6, 0-2 NJAC) Oct. 8.
Junior forward
Carly Satter (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) opened the scoring when she shoveled a shot over the goalie's stacked pads 10:03 into the contest.
Senior forward
Maureen Gill (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) made it a 2-0 margin in the 19th minute, knocking a loose ball in from just in front of the goal.
Junior midfielder Sarah Gawrysiak cut the lead in half with her attempt from the middle of the circle less than four minutes into the second half.

Courtney Allen (Woodbine, N.J./Ocean City) passed to freshman forward
Michaela Meillier (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Holy Cross), who put a backhanded shot past the goalie for a 3-1 advantage at the 42:39 mark.
The Ospreys pulled back to within one when sophomore back Jacquie Fenton fired through traffic in the 51st minute.
Senior midfielder
Meghin Stanton (Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) finished the scoring with a converted penalty stroke at the 58:41 mark.
Sophomore
Mallory Rickerhauser (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional) turned aside 10 shots for the Pioneers, and senior Emily Sorochynskyj made three saves for Stockton.
The Pioneers will play at Misericordia Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 3:30 p.m.
