WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (6-4-2) and DeSales (6-4-2) played to a 1-1 double-overtime men's soccer draw Oct. 5 at Pioneer Soccer Park.
 
Sophomore forward Alex DiRienzo one-timed a Max Cortina pass to the inside of the left post from five yards out, handing the Bulldogs a 1-0 edge in the eighth minute.
 
Senior midfielder Juan Sebastian Londono (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) sent a ball to freshman midfielder/back Keysean Brant-Sharp (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick), who finished across the frame to the left post to level the score at the 18:39 mark.
 
The Pioneers outshot DeSales 18-2 after halftime, but could not come up with the game winner.
 
Freshman Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) made one stop for WP, and junior Dan Sulpizio had seven saves for the Bulldogs.
 
William Paterson will compete at Kean Saturday, Oct. 8, at 4:00 p.m.
