CAMDEN, N.J. – An early goal by junior midfielder
JP Gonzales (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) proved to be the difference as the William Paterson men's soccer team (8-7-2, 3-5 NJAC) posted a 1-0 victory at Rutgers-Camden (8-5-4, 4-3-1 NJAC) Oct. 22.
Gonzales received a pass to the top of the box from freshman midfielder
Dromo Quaye (North Plainfield, N.J./North Plainfield) and fired to the inside of the right post in the ninth minute, producing the match's lone goal.
Freshman
Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) needed three saves to record his six shutout of the season for the Pioneers. Sophomore James Brett finished with six stops for the Scarlet Raptors.
William Paterson will celebrate Senior Night Wednesday, Oct. 26, against No. 7 Rutgers-Newark at 7:00 p.m.
