WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (14-10, 1-6 NJAC) fell to visiting Rutgers-Newark (14-10, 3-4 NJAC), 25-18, 25-21 and 25-22, in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) volleyball action Oct. 18.
Sophomore setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) posted a double-double with 29 assists and 10 digs. Freshman outside/middle hitter
Alyson Toman (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) had 10 kills, while sophomore outside hitter
Amanda Lembo (North Haledon, N.J./DePaul Catholic) finished with seven kills and 11 digs. Sophomore outside hitter
Christine Griffith (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) chipped in 11 digs, two block solos and one block assist.
Junior setter/outside hitter Karolina Kopacz tallied 15 kills, 21 assists and seven digs for the Scarlet Raiders. Junior libero Sue Riley collected 14 digs.
William Paterson will compete at Saint Elizabeth Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7:00 p.m.
