MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (9-4-1, 2-4 NJAC) dropped a 3-1 decision at Montclair State (11-2-1, 5-1 NJAC) Oct. 12.
Freshman midfielder Ryelle Sansone finished an Erin Sullivan pass for a 1-0 Red Hawk lead in the 10th minute.

Adrianna Oliveira (Union, N.J./Union) sent a corner kick to the penalty spot and senior back
Tori Woetzel (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) headed it in to knot the score at 1-1 at the 10:02 mark.
Freshman forward Emily Beenders scored off a Sansone assist in the 19th minute, and freshman midfielder Christine Mayorga added an unassisted insurance goal 10 minutes later.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Angela Sandelli (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) had five saves for the Pioneers, while senior Alyson Burns made five stops for MSU.
William Paterson will host Stockton on Family Day Saturday, Oct. 15, at 5:30 p.m.
